All construction is scheduled to be completed by mid September.
The City of Klamath Falls and the Contractor appreciate the public's patience during this project. The local Contractor, Bob's Excavating, will be partnering with the City to minimize inconveniencing the public wheverever possible.

Council Consideration of Terminating the Contract with Kerr Construction for the Airport Runway Project
The City Council for the City of Klamath Falls will consider terminating the Contract with Kerr Contractors at a special meeting to be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 500 Klamath Avenue, Klamath Falls.

NOVEMBER 2, 2010 GENERAL ELECTION
City Council positions will be open this year in Wards 3, 4 and 5 for the General Election on November 2, 2010. Cheri Howard has served as Council Representative in Ward 3 since 1995, Betty Dickson has been the Council Representative for Ward 4 since 1995 and Bill Adams has represented Ward 5 since 2002.
Qualifications under the City Charter to run for City Council are: Must be a resident of the City of Klamath Falls or area annexed to the City continuously during the four (4) years immediately preceding the election. Council members need to be a resident of the ward. The timeline for filing for the General Election is no sooner than June 2, 2010 and no later than August 24, 2010.
Ward 3 covers a portion of Mills Addition and North Hills; Ward 4 covers a portion of the Hot Springs area from Manzanita North and Pelican City area; Ward 5 covers a portion of downtown area and from Highway 97 East to Lexington and 11th. The City Recorder's office has a more detailed map.
