Todd was born in Klamath Falls in 1953. He attended Riverside Elementary (1-7, no kindergarten), Fremont Jr. High (8th grade) Mazama (was 9th graders only) and graduated from KU (10-12) in 1970.
His early interests were his love for music. "My dad loved Peggy Lee (What man didn't?) and my mom took me to see Don Shirley and George Shearing here locally, at Mills Auditorium. WOW! This is what piqued my interest and started me on the road to listen and appreciate many genres of music."
The son of a local businessman and WWII man, Todd ultimately took his political interests from his great grandfather, his grandfather and his dad, all of whom were public servants.
Todd Kellstrom is a proud Father and Stepfather of Raymond, Christine, Michael & Kevin all of whom are on their way to successful lives in their chosen fields of firefighter, nurse, entrepreneur and Marine.
I moved to Klamath Falls in 1978 and worked as an administrator and counselor in crisis intervention until 1986, when I opened my own business as a consultant to the non-profit sector in strategic planning, fundraising, grant writing and Board development. I have a BA in social work (University of South Dakota) and a Masters in Management (Public Administration) from SOU. My son Jesse, daughter Elizabeth, and grandson Fletcher are the light of my life.
In 1992 I created a partnership with OIT, Pacific Non-Profit Network and local funders to develop the Grantsmanship Center Library at OIT, a resource for information on grant writing, fundraising, Board development and non-profit management. In the ensuing years I have provided services to a number of local and regional agencies, in the areas of health, human services, the arts, education, civic improvement and economic development. I have raised millions of dollars for local projects that enhance our rural quality of life. As a volunteer, I have served on numerous boards and commissions that provide leadership for organizations and good stewardship of scarce financial resources.
I was elected to the Klamath Falls City Council in 2000, and re-elected in 2004.I have a vision for Klamath Falls and the Klamath Basin that provides good paying jobs for our citizens, educational opportunities for our children from pre-school through higher education, economic development that includes industrial and commercial expansion, and collaboration with regional, state and federal entities to meet our future needs in transportation, infrastructure and public safety. I believe in Klamath Falls, and I believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to my family and myself.

Cheri was born in a small town in the Sierra Nevada Mountains known as Truckee. At the age of 5, her family moved to Vallejo, then Pinole, in the Bay Area of California where they lived until her parents' retirement and Cheri's graduation from High School.
In 1977, her family moved to Klamath Falls. Cheri met her husband Doug, who was born and raised in Klamath Falls, in the fall of 1977. They were married in September of 1978 and chose to remain in Klamath Falls to raise their family. Their first child Christopher, was born in the summer of 1980 and their second child, Charissa , was born in 1983. In 1984, they purchased their first home in the Mills Addition and are still residing there today.
Since moving to Klamath Falls, Cheri worked as a title clerk, waitress, sales associate, receptionist, and bookkeeper. In 1991, Doug started his own very successful auto repair business and Cheri joined him that business in 1993 working as office manager.
Throughout her years in various organizations, Cheri become a very active part of the community and wanted to give something back to the people who helped her along the way. In 1994, Cheri was encouraged to run for the Klamath Falls City Council. She was elected that year and has been serving the past 13+ years after being successful in three subsequent elections.
Cheri is still very active in the community, working for the Klamath Falls City Schools for almost 10 years and being a member of multiple organizations and committees.
Cheri and Doug raised their two children to be happy and successful, and in November of this year, will be blessed with their first grandchild.
